Sunday morning wood

So I'm sitting on the front porch early this morning watching the rain, having a smoke, and sipping my first cup of black coffee. I happened to glance down at the base of my wood...........drum roll please...........columns on the porch where they rest on slate. With all this rain we've been getting they're getting dirty where the water sits after a rain. This bothers me. This house is all of 8 months old and already I'm seeing upkeep. Thank God the neighbors didn't catch this before I did.

I guess there are two morals to this post:

1) A boy needs to wash his wood regularly if he wants to keep it fresh and clean.

2) Morning wood could be embarrassing if the neighbors notice it before you do.
