Speaking of hateful Christians

"We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability," Robertson said Monday on the Christian Broadcast Network's "The 700 Club."

"We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator," he continued. "It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."

Televangelist Calls for Chavez' Death

Pat Robertson is truly insane.

UPDATE: I just this moment got off the phone with a prayer partner at the 700 Club. I spoke at great length with a polite young woman and told her how outraged I am that a man who calls himself a man of God would actually make such a hateful remark under the guise of Christianity. I went on to tell her that "I" would be praying for Pat Robertson's soul and that he will make peace with himself and with his God. You may call the 700 Club at (800) 759-0700 and offer your prayers for Pat as well.

He felt lonely with all the Imams in the Islamic faith telling people to murder every single day he thought he would try it this one time.

The man has truly lost his mind.

On World New Tonight yesterday, Charles Gibson made a very telling remark by saying "is this his definition of Christian love?" The report also mentioned that they could find no prominent evangelical ("even those who are normally eager to speak on camera") willing to talk to them about Robertson's remarks.

The facade is hopefully cracking.
